Onward to Charlotte: Meeting and Delegate Registration
I look forward to seeing all of you in person at the June House of Delegates meetings! Below are just a few reminders about your responsibilities and opportunities as a delegate.
Before arriving in Charlotte, all delegates must register to attend the ASHP Pharmacy Futures 2025 Meeting. Upon arrival in Charlotte, you also need to register onsite as a delegate (or alternate delegate). Delegates and alternates can register at the Charlotte Convention Center A Concourse, Level 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 7 to 11 a.m. on Sunday. Delegates who miss those hours can register in the Executive Office (Room W204B) after 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Once registered, you may attend all the events organized for ASHP delegates outlined in the Meetings at a Glance. The Checklist for Delegates is also a helpful reminder to prepare for all the important events in Charlotte.
If you are a state delegate who will not be able to serve for the meetings in June, please contact your state affiliate as soon as possible so an alternate can be appointed. Please note that delegates are considered certified only if the communication is sent to ASHP (affiliates@ashp.org) from a president or executive of an ASHP-affiliated state society. Other delegates who are unable to participate should contact ASHP directly. If your state delegation must replace a delegate with an alternate delegate after the Sunday Meeting of the House, the alternate should present to the ASHP Executive Office (Room W204B) before 3 p.m., or to Dr. Hannah Vanderpool in the House meeting room no later than 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

All documents for the June House session are available on the ASHP House of Delegates website. Although there will be limited internet access in the House meeting room, we strongly suggest that you download or print the following materials in advance:
Delegates may submit amendments, recommendations, and new business items in printed form onsite or in advance through forms on the Calls, Forms, and Rosters page of the House of Delegates website:
Proposed amendments must be prepared for large-screen projection in the House. It is essential that all proposed language is received well in advance for viewing by the entire House of Delegates. Computers in the Delegate Workroom (Room W201B) can provide access to the Amending Language Form (as well as forms for Recommendations and New Business Items), and printed versions will be available at your seat. Delegates are strongly encouraged to submit proposed amendments online by 9 a.m. ET June 7 for inclusion in the Report on Proposed Amendments and discussion at the First Delegate Caucus. Proposed amendments should be submitted as described in the form. After the online form is closed, delegates may submit amendments either as printed versions provided to staff or an email to the chair (hodchair@ashp.org) before noon Charlotte time (ET) on Sunday. After that time, paper amendment forms must be handed to staff at the side table in the meeting room.
The deadline for new business is 4 p.m. ET June 9, and recommendations may be submitted online until 4 p.m. ET June 10 and in print form at the first and second meetings of the House.
