Preparing for the June House of Delegates at the Pharmacy Futures 2025 Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina
We look forward to seeing you at the in-person June House of Delegates meetings this year! Below are some actions delegates should take before or soon after they arrive.
Register for the Pharmacy Futures meeting and as a delegate. Before arriving in Charlotte, all delegates must register to attend the Pharmacy Futures meeting. Upon arrival, you also need to register on-site as a delegate (or alternate delegate). Delegates and alternates register at the delegate registration desk in the Charlotte Convention Center, A Concourse, Level 1, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and from 7-11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Delegates who miss those hours can register in the Executive Office (Room W204B) after 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Please be sure to block out time on your calendars for the following important meetings, as they are an expectation of delegate service:
- First Delegate Caucus: June 8, 9:30–11:30 a.m., Room W206B
- First Meeting of the House: June 8, 1–5 p.m., Richardson Ballroom
- Second Delegate Caucus: June 10, 12:15–2 p.m., Room W206B
- Second Meeting of the House: June 10, 4–6 p.m., Richardson Ballroom
Please consult the Meetings-at-a-Glance for additional details regarding June House of Delegates events. The Open Forum for Members and the Delegate Primer are highly recommended.
Download and review the documents for the House of Delegates. All documents for the June House meetings will be made available on the ASHP House of Delegates website soon, but the following are available now:
Although there may be some internet access in the House meeting room, we strongly suggest that you download or print all the materials you will need at the meetings in advance.
Let us know if you will not be able to serve as a delegate. If you are a state delegate who will not be able to serve during the June meetings, please contact your state affiliate as soon as possible so an alternate can be appointed. Please note that delegates are considered certified only if the communication is sent to ASHP (affiliates@ashp.org) from a president or executive of an ASHP-affiliated state society. Other delegates who are unable to participate should contact ASHP directly. If your state delegation must replace a delegate with an alternate after the Sunday meeting, the alternate should arrive at the ASHP Executive Office (Room W204B) before 3 p.m., or see ASHP's Hannah Vanderpool in the House meeting room no later than 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday.
Submit proposed amendments. Many thanks to the delegates who submitted proposed amendments in response to the post-RDC survey. Delegates are hard at work on amendments to most of the policy recommendations.
The goal is to have consensus amending language posted on ASHP Connect by Wednesday, May 28. Delegates are asked to submit final proposed amending language by 9 a.m. ET Saturday, June 7, so it can be posted to ASHP Connect and a Report on Proposed Amendments that will be available on the House website by June 8. Look for consensus amending language on the ASHP Connect House of Delegates Community around May 28. And it’s not too late to join one of the consensus amending efforts or to propose an amendment of your own.
Start thinking about recommendations and new business items. Recommendations and new business items may be submitted on paper at the meeting or in advance through the Calls, Forms, and Rosters page of the House website. The deadline for new business is 4 p.m. ET June 9, and recommendations may be submitted online until 4 p.m. ET June 10 or on paper at the first and second meetings of the House.
